Knock Knock....

Well this weekend Jared and I got a new front door. YEAH! We have been looking for a little while and admiring the doors around the neighborhood! We found a great place that had doors at a discounted rate...kinda a surplus store full of kitchen stuff, flooring, fixtures, doors, etc. So Jared with the help of friend installed the door yesterday! My Mr. Fix it is really coming in handy! He did a great job installing the door and hardware on the door. The door knobs match our new china hutch perfectly! Enjoy the pics!!

Need Help!

Ok well Jared and I want to add a back splash tile to the kitchen. I think it would just add so much character to the kitchen. Ok well we went to several different places today and found a place that sells the same stuff as Lowe's and Home Depot but for 1/2 the price! Well this place had 2 tiles that we liked...but now we are kinda stuck... we need your HELP! Tell us which one you like better!!!

A Day in the life of Browning

(spoken from Browning)

Hi guys,

Well Mom took me to work with her again!! I can't believe how many times I have gotten to go to the barn this week. Well there is so much to do at the barn. I run and run and run and sniff and run and sniff and play in the water. Sometimes i have to be careful cause there are these really really big dogs (aka Horses) that chase me sometimes but I think they are still my friends! Well today mom finally got a video of me jumping the hay bales. It's so much fun! I love jumping the hay bales and being outside...althought it's kinda hot! I ride in the gator and my ears just fly in the wind. I really like spending all this time with my mommy! She lets me take naps in her office and i even got to go swimming the other day! She tells me we are going to the lake again! I can't wait...I LOVE WATER AND SWIMMING! I also like to go in the boat! My ears really flap then! Well i gotta go and get back to the barn! I think some of those really big dogs left me some little treats from their breakfast! See you soon!

A "Lowe" weekend

Well this past weekend Jared's parents came to visit. We had a great time with them and getting them a little more familiar with Waco's traditions. They got a taste of George's and the Big O and their famous crazy wings! mmm soo good. For those of you who have not tasted the yummy goodness, a "crazy wing" is made up of a piece of boneless chicken (so we are in the right direction to start out with!) a piece of a jalepeno and cheese wrapped in bacon and deep fried. They are traditionally served with ranch or blue cheese. So pretty much we are talking the health food in its finest! YEAH RIGHT!! But they are really good! Really bad thing are traditionally the best tasting...why is that?!?!

Well anyways after George's it was pretty much bed time. Sunday we woke to a very busy day ahead of us! Jared and his dad were busy cleaning the air conditioner, then they cut down a dead tree in the front yard, ate breakfast, went shopping for a new tree, bought 2 crepe myrtles for the backyard, and after 3 nurseries settled on another krepe mrytle for the front yard. So I think Krepe Mrytle's are my new favorites tree/bush! Yes it's both! We got one called a dynamite red and the other is "watermellon!" Very pretty!

Our yard is really coming along nicely. In all, the backyard now features 4 crepe myrtles and 1 magnolia tree! YEAH! Oh and all my flower pots and now full!! My mother in law hooked me up with some great flowers. Our patio is a little garden oasis! I'm pretty exciting! Oh and also...they are the coolest things!!! I also got three ceramic mushrooms that look great with the new cushions and will last forever! They are so cute! It was an early birthday present from Jared's parents!

On Sunday, I also went to my friends baby shower. She is having a little boy...Hunter! She is due in a couple weeks! I met her through our SUnday school class. it was a nice shower and she got a lot of stuff for her little boy! It's all so cute and little! Lots of blue and sports themed things for that household!!

Well after the baby shower and Jared's parents departure we went to our friends house for dinner. The Lemhkuhl's invited us over and we had a great time! Daniel just went to work for Jared and seems to be enjoying his new job at Sanderson Farms! Carolyn is his wife and she is just so sweet. She is an accountant. We had a great time...eating chicken! He's already supporting Sanderson farms! YEA! So needless to say our weekend was packed full!! We had a great time seeing Jared's parents and being with friends!!

On another note...my parents house is for sale as of tonight! I guess it is kinda bittersweet! They are moving on to a better place...Lakeview, AR! They are going to be close to my grandparents...YEAH YEAH!!! and my Dad will soon be retired! YEA! --days spent on the river fishing, on the boat fishing, on the boat cruising, or on the jet ski cutting it up on Bull Shoals lake! They are going to love retirement! On they other hand they will be leaving a house that has been our home for 10 years almost 11. Hard to believe how fast time has flown by! But I think Arkansas out ways the other hands down! So pray for a quick sale on the house~ I know it will go smoothly!!!

Enjoy the pics!

Hard at Work

Well today was a very exhausting day out at the equestrian center..........well I guess if you are a dog it was! Browning came to work with me today and has had a BLAST! Besides running around the barn and jumping round bales...he also go to go swimming! Trista and I have been wanting to try out the Baylor marina so today we loaded up the dogs...got a canoe...and took out onto the Brazos river! Bella decided to jump out of the canoe...but not to worry the coast guard aka Baylor Life guards saved her in their little john boat! We had fun and the dogs are let's just say...exhausted! Browning and Bella played, swam, boated, swam some more, fetched stick, fetched tennis balls (thanks tennis camp) and ran! We had fun! A little different scenary than the barn and our computers! Enjoy the pics!

New Addition

Well from the title I am sure you are anxious as to what our "NewAddition" might be?!?!?! Well it isn't a dog....or animal for that fact....it is however living.....ok ok....can you guess...??? Well by the picture i'm sure you know! It's a Magnolia Tree! It made its way from Kingwood to Waco via Jared's truck! I might add that I wouldn't recommend transport of trees for more than 20 miles! But it's doing good in Waco enjoying its daily drinks of water and cocktails every 7 days! By Cocktails i mean root stimulators! Come on guys! HEHE! Enjoy that pics! Thanks Mom and Dad for our new addition!
