Day 1

Well today was an exciting day! The morning was a little stressful but my afternoon made up for it! I got my first Canon lesson this afternoon and then played with the camera in downtown Waco. I didn't have anybody with me...so i had to make do with the scenery. I used both lenses to see just what they could do! The zoom lens is AWESOME!! I can't wait to bring that to the deer stand or on the beach!!!

I kept my distance..i didn't want to be that creeper! I had the zoom lens on with this one

My new LOVE

I got this yesterday!!! I'm so excited! I have my first lesson tomorrow at 2:00! One of the girls on the team, her boyfriend works for Baylor Photography!!! I can't wait! The others are of our crazy dog and his obsession with our bed!! Yes he has found that her prefers our bed to anything else. And if can get the opportunity to sneak beneath the covers you won't hear a peep from him the rest of the night! Enjoy...and be ready for LOTS of pictures in the future! I have my first "shoot" with some good friends of ours soon! YEAH!

OH i got the Canon Rebel XS with the 18-55 and 75-300 lens! and a list of places i want to shoot at around WACO!!

Winter Wonderland...in WaCo??

Well today was an unusual day in Waco, TX! Jared found out yesterday that the plant was going to be closed for today....i went to work this morning as usual and drove in a thick snow to get to the barn! I worked for a few hours and then Baylor sent out an email to say they were closing early! YEAH SNOW DAYS! So Jared and I grabbed some lunch, played in the snow, took some pics and videos! Yea we are pretty young at heart! IT's supposed to snow all day! 6 inches of snow is going to be falling on Waco today! CRAZY! It has been pretty steady all day long! It's really beautiful to watch it come down! And come down it is!!!! If only i had some snow skis or a sled!!!! I need Laura and Tom's mule to pull a sled behind! I would be the coolest neighbor for all the kiddos around here! Enjoy the pics!

Browning in the snow! I make a snowball at throw it up in the air...he catches it in his mouth and goes nuts as the snowball dissolves! He is definitely a Texas born and raised! This was pretty much his reaction when we went to Arkansas for Christmas in the blizzard.

Cheerleader in the Making

Well Brent, Melissa, Hannah and Jake came to Waco today! We had a packed full day of cheer camp, going to see horses, basketball game, and some more cheering! I think the kiddos will be out for the car ride home! Here are some pictures from the day and a video of Hannah's half time performance at the basketball game tonight! Enjoy! She did so great! I wonder if Baylor has a t-ball camp?!?! He would be all over that!!!
