Great Weekend...Went by too fast!
So this weekend was great! Jared and had a lot of fun getting to see my parents and some of our college friends! Saturday we woke up and drove to College Station to meet my parents and do an early Christmas in the parking lot! Kinda crazy but still fun! We went to lunch at one of our favorite spots...Chicken Oil and enjoyed a hamburger! MMMM...then off to shop! We had fun at Cavenders! Both Mom and Dad had visits from Santa! But ya'll will have to wait till Christmas to see what Santa brought them! Hey this is kinda fun, I already know!!! So then after shopping we exchanged some gifts, recieved lots of YUMMY cookies from my mom and they were off back to Houston! Jared and I stayed around College Station for awhile longer so we could have dinner with our friends! We went to a Mexican food restuarant and thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend some time with our good friends...so after a couple hours in the restaurant we had to get back home to Browning! So then Sunday...well we both woke up not feeling well at all..I guess we kinda over did it on Saturday...but well worth it! So SUnday afternoon we felt better and went to our Church's Christmas program. We had a lot of fun! It was a neat production they put on. Its theme was Christmas around the world. So each little skit was a different country and its culture. So after that......only Texan's could understand this...Dec. 14th and it's 80 degrees outside so...we had a candle light dinner on the back porch with our new patio furniture! Well the dinner was elaborate.....frozen pizza! and then we set up the hammock and enjoyed a peacefull couple of minutes looking at the stars! Yea we're sappy like that! Then back to wrapping presents and cleaning up the kitchen! Overall pretty good weekend! Sorry no pics this time....my camera is kinda on its last leg...tear!
