Big 12 Tour has come to a close!

Yes my tour through the Big 12 has come to an end! It was a good 8 years!! I can't believe it has been that long! There were many good times, memories and friendships! I will miss it, but can't wait to start teaching!!! I received my contract today and am so anxious to look over it and sign my life away!! I think there are about the same number of pages as when we signed the contract to our house! HA! I get fingerprinted on Saturday morning....getting closer! I just lack my little Midway ISD badge!! I'll need to get a fun little necklace clip, since i have to wear it 24/7 at school! So back to school I go! I just LOVE school! I have been going to school for 23 years..only a 1 year break from May 2008- August 2009!

What a Week

Well this week I fell as if i am on a never ending roller coaster! I go up, down, around, upside down, stomach in knots....can you get a mental picture? Well maybe this will help?!!?
My housework this week has gone out the window, Browning needs to go on about a 5 miles run/walk and have the ball tossed to him about a 1000 times to make up for my lack of attention to him! But i'm hoping tonight i can some what make it up to him! Jared has been working second shift this week, so i haven't really seen him much since Monday. So needless to say i will be GLAD to be back on schedule next week.

On a side note... Jared and I along with some of our friends from our Sunday School class are going to float the river this weekend. We are all sharing a condo so we are both looking forward to a relaxing and fun weekend with friends. Luckily this year there is plenty of water in the river unlike last year hitting all the rocks with our tube! hehe! YEA for rain! It's funny we are taking 2 cars...one for the boys and one for the girls! Yes nothing much has changed since elementary school! Hopefully we will hit the outlet mall on the way home...just a thought! The girls car can go to the outlet and the boys car can go to Cabela's! I am 99.9% sure that is what will happen!


Jared has asked me sew him something!!! HEHE!! His boss's wife is pregnant and they are Alabama fans...so i'm seeing so more onsies and burp cloths in the future! I think she is having a girl so i'm excited to add some bows and cutsie things to the items! I found some cute BAMA fabric online and will probably be ordering that very soon! I'll post once I finish! Next week will be my first sewing class! Should be fun!

For your Spitting Pleasure

Are you confused by the title?!?! Well i am now in the business of making burp cloths for little babies! Thanks to my Mom and Dad for getting me a sewing machine for my birthday! HEHE!! Last night and well into the morning, I was learning how to sew! I wanted to make a cutsie burp cloth for some friends who are having babies/showers, and I have seen on blogs and etsy these cute burp rags and said "self i can make these!!" Well To my SURPRISE when my parents came into town last night they bought me a Janome 25th Anniversary machine! So since then i have been sewing up a storm! HA! It's been fun. So now when I have another baby shower to go to...I know what i'm bringing!! I am going to be nosy and spy on more blogs to get ideas for more cutsie little things! Enjoy the pics!!!

No No....i'm not having another party...YET! But guess who has a new color out?!?! FIESTAWARE!! I was pretty much drooling when I heard this news last night at small group! Another new color is out!!! Jared was just as excited as I was...i just KNOW it! heheh! It's color...paprika!! I haven't seen it in real life yet...i'm hoping it isn't too ...you know tu color! I don't know if that could step foot in our house!! BUT oh the excitement...it sure made my day!!!!

Happy 26th Birthday to me!

Yesterday was my 26th Birthday! It was a fun birthday! We had our Sunday School class over for a little party at the house! Jared got to smoke chicken for the first time with our neighbors big smoker and i made coleslaw, potato salad, salsa, queso, and THE chocolate cake! It was a fun and memorable day! Us...we were right below our room and there were flamingos about 10 feet from us and the peacocks!

Off to my right shoulder was one of the dining rooms...you can see the thatch roof! It was really neat the architecture at our resort!

i really liked this tree...it was like it had multiple trunks! Very Jungle/rainforest!
