Long Delay...

Well it's been awhile since my last blog post. Jared and I have been busy traveling to Houston, working, and just living life. Here are some pictures of us at the rodeo this year! We saw Brooks and Dunn! They put on a really good concert! We thoroughly enjoyed it! The only thing i missed out on this year was....getting one of those rodeo cinnamon rolls...oh well saved myself like a billion calories and fat grams! But Jared and I did split a rodeo nacho! MMMMMMMMMM!! It was good! We had fun seeing our parents and being in Houston.

Also, here are some pictures of Browning when he went to work with me. Yes i brought my child to work! He played pretty much all day at the barn running between the barn and the pastures. He spent some time in the arena jumping the jumps and jumping on the hay bails! Yes he pretty much is a barn dog...and loves every minute of it!!

Well we moved into the house in October and planted some flowers...LOOK how they've grown!! I didn't kill them! it's pretty much amazing!!

YEAH YEAH!!!

Well this needed a whole new post because it is so exciting! Jared and I have been looking at some new furniture for the house. In particular a new kitchen table!! Well we found one we just loved!! Many weekends you can find us browsing through Ashley Furniture! Well maybe it's the free hot cookies and bottle water they have in the back!! Yes if you go to Ashley head towards the back..they have free cookies and bottled water! Even if you don't need any furniture...the cookies make it all worth it...Well it just so happened that the cookies kinda lost interest when we found our kitchen table! I know I know how exciting can a kitchen table be...it's just a piece of wood that you eat at...well this one is just gorgeous and is going to look so good in our house!

And wouldn't you know..they made a matching buffet to go with it! OMG!! This piece is not only amazing, pretty, big, country, but.....I'm head over heals in love with it too!! GOODNESS...when i make up my mind...WATCH OUT!! So after several months of drooling...yes there was drool....we made the plunge aaaannnndddd.....??????




BOUGHT BOTH!!!! We got a great deal or so we think....and they are going to be here delivered and set up.....in just about 2 weeks! I'm so excited!! So does anyone need a china cabinet or table?? I can't wait to post pics of the new ones in the house!! I've already started working out the arrangement of the dishes, platters, crystal in my head! So excited!

Busy week new things!!!

Well this week sure has been busy!!! Monday night we went to watch the Baylor Bears Baseball team play Texas A&M. It was a good game! WE had a lot of fun with several couples from our Sunday school class. Well the game went into extra innings...yes it was exciting! I rooted for Baylor....I know I know....and Jared rooted for the Aggies! Do remember that Baylor gives the paycheck and it makes it fun to mess with Jared that way! I don't think he really minds!!

This past weekend Jared and I went to the shopping for a few items....but were surprised when we came across a certain piece in Kirklands. We've been looking for a chair for our bedroom. Nothing big or major just a little piece to put in the corner...a reading a corner. Something quaint and cute! Well guess what!!! We found just that!!! and the best part.....it was on CLEARANCE!!! YES CLEARANCE!! You all know how I like bargains!! So for barely anything we got a great chair that matches our bedding and room perfectly. Yea we're pretty pumped!!

Oh and if you look close at the pic of Browning...he is holding onto his Valentine Bear on the coach with his paw...it was just dangling and he was holding onto it!! It was soo cute!!!


Oh and by the way...Baylor won 8 to 7...yes Jared was sad!

Clean Bill of Health...FINALLY!

Well i have been officially cleared by the doctor. I think he's going to miss our weekly appointments! j/k. I won't have to see him again for 6 weeks! My pathology report came back on the gland that we removed and it was infected...inflamed..enlarged! So it was the right move to remove it! So hopefully i will not have any swollen neck problems for the rest of my life!!!! HOPEFULLY!! I'm feeling a lot better and the pain is bearable now. Thank goodness! I still have the stitches which should dissolve in the next week. So YEAH almost healed!!

Laura, Tom and Clara surprised me this week with a cookie bouquet! Laura called and ask if i would be running errands, which is a daily for me, and i told her i was just later. I thought it odd that she kept asking when i would be running errands. Then finally she admitted that i needed to pick up something when i ran my errands. So after that i left to go get the mail and run this unknown errand. I actually drove right past the mail place to this secret location....she had me interested! So i drive to Valley Mills and Waco drive trying to find this mysterious 4308 address. I spout out all the business but none of them are the right place. Although Laura was pretty intrigued when i said Pei Wei!! mmm lettuce wraps...but back to 4308.....So after turning into the shopping center...i drive by Mardels, Office Max, some scrapbook place...AT&T...i was getting closer cause the address were dropping! So finally i rech 4308...better known as Cookies By Design. So i have figured it out by now that they got me a cookie bouquet! For those who aren't aware of cookie bouquets allow me to explain!!!!! They are BIG...THICK....Sugar Cookies with icing all over them and they are in different shapes. Some are spors themed...airplanes, trucks..baby stuff....ANY OCCASION really! Mine were flowers!!!! OH and did i mention they taste AMAZING?!?! well they do!! So i walk into the store and tell the lady my name...all the while laura is on the phone with me! so i get my bouquet and marvel at the cookies!! mmmm! So THANK YOU AGAIN TRENT'S!!!! We'll enjoy for sure!!

Outdoor SPACE!

Well as most of you know now....this past weekend we extended the patio and added a rock path way from the front door to the gate. I am really hoping that this will help decrease muddy PAWS on my floor..not mentioning any names!! It was a lot of work but well worth it. It looks really good and it's nice to have that added space for BBQ's and get togethers! We are already planning on having our Sunday school social at our house for March or April! We are still working on the walk way...we ran out of the little pebbles! But Jared is going to get some more this weekend! Then it will be completly finished YEAH!!
